GUIDELINES FOR PERSONS APPLYING TO TRAIN AT
CRANBOURNE TRAINING COMPLEX
IMPORTANT
NOTICE
REVIEW
OF CURRENT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IN APPLYING TO TRAIN AT CTC -
Committee
of Management, CTC have decided to wait for the Racing Victoria
Limited restructure of the current level of trainers license before
completing their review of current eligibility criteria for applying
to train at CTC and that NO APPLICATIONS
will be approved until this time.
APPLICANTS
TO TRAIN AT CRANBOURNE TRAINING COMPLEX
Due to the limited capacity to accommodate additional
horses at present, the Committee of Management, except in special
circumstances, have adopted the following policies when granting
permission to train at Cranbourne Training Complex.
• Trainers should
hold “Licensed Trainer” or “Permit to Train”
or the equivalent.
Owner/Trainers, Private Trainers and Picnic Trainers will
not be considered.
• Trainers should have a minimum of five horses in their care.
• Stabling should not be closer to any other training centre.
• Horses trained by applicants should have had a combined
total of at least 35 race starts in the past twelve (12) months.

Approved by the Committee of Management.
Trainers purchasing or leasing properties
near Cranbourne Training Complex should not assume that they will
be granted permission to train at Cranbourne Training Complex.
